Jake, Josh & ... Don Shula
"Breakfast With A Champion"
Dear Jake & Josh fans,

Thanks to your support, our Aron Family Team has been tops among the local WalkAmerica teams each of the last two years. Now we’re hoping you can help us gather names, not dollars.

The names we’re looking for are business contacts who can help us with another March of Dimes fund-raiser we’ve become involved in: “Breakfast With A Champion.”

We’ve been chosen the “Ambassador Family” for the 12th annual event. This means that during the breakfast we will tell our story as an example of the wonderful work being done by the March of Dimes and others treating and fighting prematurity.

And, because of our fund-raising success with WalkAmerica, we’ve also joined the planning committee.

Our primary duty is selling tickets, tables and corporate sponsorships. These range from $150 to $15,000 -- which is why we're looking for donations from businesses.

At those prices, folks are obviously getting more than hearing our story. The keynote speaker is Don Shula, the winningest coach in NFL history. The event will be Monday, Nov. 6, from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Westin Galleria Hotel.

Back to our request for a name. If you could pass along the name and contact information (phone number and/or e-mail) of the person who handles this sort of thing for your company -- or anyone else you think might be able to help -- then the committee will take care of the rest.
OK, now the fun part of this e-mail: an update about our inspirations, Jake & Josh.

The boys recently started Pre-K at Temple Emanu El and are doing great. They still have their “buttons” on their tummies, but we’re proud to say they’re approaching six months without receiving meals through them. Both are easily the smallest in their classes – but that’s no surprise considering their tiny, early start ... and their genetics!

Speaking of sizes, we thought it’d be fun to match up their feet now with their original footprints, which we immortalized last year on our Family Teams business cards. Check it out:

Yes, their original footprints were so small they could fit -- easily -- on the business card.

That's Jake on the left, Josh on the right. Look closely at the second picture and you'll see they are towering over the business card.

Thanks,
Lori & Jaime

PPS -- In October, look for Jake, Josh and big brother Zac among the kids pictured in an ad for Breakfast With A Champion in The Dallas Morning News; look for a photo also featuring the Tom Thumb and Dr Pepper can dress-up characters.
