FOOTPRINTS

These are Josh and Jake's footprints, taken the day after they were born (May 12, 2002). It was a fluke that the prints were even made -- it was Mother's Day, and the ICU nurses put them on a card for the ICU-bound Mommy, who had yet to meet her babies.

Because the prints are small enough to fit on a business card, they've become somewhat of an iconic image of Jake & Josh's tiny beginning.

Here's a clever twist on the original footprint made by Josh's teachers during winter 2006: His current foot is the snowman, and his original print is another "baby" snowman.
