PAINTING WITH CHRISTOPHER MARTIN

On Oct. 23, 2006, Jake & Josh were among the kids rounded up by the March of Dimes to visit the studio of local artist Christopher Martin. 

Chris  took a blank canvas and let the kids decorate it as they pleased, with  his supervision of course. They did several layers (on the canvas, their  clothes and their skin), then he took their finished work and turned it  into even more of a masterpiece.

This  wasn't just for fun -- it was for a fund-raiser. The final work was  auctioned off for $12,000 at an event called Signature Chefs. A replica  of it is below (after our little artists at work)
